Ipswich City Council provides the following vaccinations to eligible adults and pregnant women. Eligibility guidelines for vaccinations given at these clinics are as per the Queensland Immunisation Schedule. For information about the Schedule, visit Queensland Health.
These vaccinations are offered at our Community Immunisation Clinics. See the clinic schedule for locations, times and dates.
Some of the vaccinations currently offered include:
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
- Any person born after 1/1/1966 is eligible. A person requires two doses of the vaccine to offer maximum protection against these diseases.
- Pneumococcal
- Any person who is aged 70 years or older. Refer to the National Immunisation Schedule Qld for other eligibility guidelines.
- Influenza
- Any person who is aged 65 years or older. Refer to the National Immunisation Schedule Qld for other eligibility guidelines.
- This vaccination is only available during the flu season (winter months).
