The Ipswich community is encouraged to attend a Ripley Valley Development Community Information Session to learn more about the growth and development occurring in the area.
The Community Information Session will take place at 2pm this Saturday 16 October in Minka Place, Main Street, Ripley.
Division 1 Councillor Sheila Ireland said it is a good opportunity for the community to hear about what’s happening in Ripley.
“The Ripley Valley Priority Development Area is one of the largest urban growth areas in Australia and it’s important residents stay informed about new developments in their area,” Cr Ireland said.
Division 1 Councillor Jacob Madsen said Ripley will evolve dramatically.
“Ripley is seeing major growth right now with 133,000 residents expected by 2036,” Councillor Madsen said.
“I encourage residents to come along to the Community Information Session to learn about the future development of the entire Valley.”
Some of the upcoming developments in Ripley Valley include Ripley Town Centre, Ecco Ripley, Providence, White Rock, Ripley Valley Estate, Hayfield, Aurora, Bellevue Ripley, Cadence, Flourish, Paradise Waters, Miramore, Ripley Statellite Hospital, along with numerous childcare centres.
Residents will have the opportunity to hear from Mayor Teresa Harding, Division 1 Councillors Sheila Ireland and Jacob Madsen, and relevant council officers during the Information Session.
