Calling all young Ipswich goblins, ghosts and scary night creatures to meet in the centre of Tulmur Place for a frighteningly good time.
Ipswich Central Redevelopment Committee Chairperson and Division 3 Councillor Marnie Doyle said there would be spooky songs, ghoulish games and freaky fun to celebrate Halloween at two free events.
“If you are looking for the spookiest time, we have brewed up two free Halloween Spook-tacular nights filled with devilish fun, ghastly delights, games and trick-or-treating,” Cr Doyle said.
“Tulmur Place will be decked out in the spirit of little vampires, wizards and witches with show-stopping Halloween music.
“It is a great opportunity for the community to gather for ghostly fun at another affordable and safe council-run event.”
Division 3 Councillor Andrew Fechner said the city’s civic precinct will come alive with a howling Halloween maze and trick-or-treat fun for the two events.
“There will be fab-boo-lous zombie beats and monster mash music as well as fantastic prizes for the best Halloween costumes,” Cr Fechner said.
“Little ghosts and goblins can boogie with Casper the Friendly Ghost, roving ghouls and giggling witches.
“Parking in the Nicholas Street Precinct carpark is accessible via Bremer Street and is free for under three hours and on the weekends.”
Dress up in your best creepy gear for a Spook-tacular Halloween Disco to be held over two nights in Tulmur Place in the Nicholas Street Precinct on October 28 and 29 from 5pm to 8pm.
