An Ipswich bridge and road will be renamed after Ipswich City Council repealed an earlier council decision to reinstate the names Paul Pisasale Bridge in Springfield Central and Pisasale Drive at Yamanto.
Council has authorised the CEO to name the road and bridge after consulting with the Yuggera Ugarapul People native title party about suitable names.
Until this is completed the bridge will be unnamed and the street signs with the existing name at Yamanto will remain in place.
