The Ipswich Region Business and Careers Expo, supported by Ipswich City Council, will be coming to Ipswich Showgrounds between 6 to 8 June 2024.
The expo has been developed to showcase current and future opportunities in the region to attract and retain workers.
Economic Development and Industry Committee Chairperson Councillor Kate Kunzelmann said the event will highlight the diversity of businesses and industry in Ipswich.
“This is a significant opportunity for people and employers to connect and strengthen the workforce ecosystem,” Cr Kunzelmann said.
“The first two days of the expo are solely for school attendance and the final day is open to the broader community,” Cr Kunzelmann said.
“The expo presents an excellent platform for Ipswich businesses to participate, build networks and showcase employment opportunities”
“I applaud the Ipswich Region Chamber of Commerce for working with schools and industry to develop this event.”
