Ipswich City Council is committed to creating an Active City through the provision of sport, recreation, physical activity, active travel and nature based recreation opportunities to the Ipswich community. Due to the significant population growth that is occurring and will continue to occur across the region, there will be a greater demand placed on existing facilities, services and programs as well as the need to provide additional resources.
A Seasonal Permit is available to clubs for use of Council owned sporting venues. Permits are broken into Winter and Summer Seasons as per the below:

Schools are able to book Council owned sporting venues to hold sporting activities.

To book a School Sporting Permit, please complete an Application for Use of Council Parks and Facilities
All other events and activities you are wishing to hold at a Council Venue can be done so on the Park Search Page.
If you are holding a larger event/competition attracting high crowd numbers and bumping in extra equipment such as food vans or amusement rides, you may require a TEEL (Temporary Entertainment Event License). More information can be found on the Temporary Entertainment and Events Page.
