WELCOME TO IPSWICH IN

AUTUMN

This Autumn is set to be an exciting one

with lots of events and activities happening

around Ipswich.

The annual Ipswich Festival kicks off from

7 April and continues through until 24 April.

The popular Parade of Light is on 16 April

and with the theme of Superheroes and

Villains – Comic Book Adventures, we’re all

sure to be in for a

super

good time.

Don’t forget that the Ipswich Show is also

coming up on 13 – 15 May. Be set for a

sensational three days of entertainment,

rides, Demolition Derby, and of course the

spectacular firework display.

The day to spoil your Mum is Mother’s Day

on 8 May. Take the whole family to George

Palmer Park in Silkstone and plant a tree

together at the Trees for Mum Day event.

It’s a great activity to celebrate your Mum

whether she be near or far.

The ever popular Movies in the Park has

two movies lined up for everyone, young

and old, to enjoy for free. Bring a picnic

blanket or even a comfy beanbag and kick

back and watch free movies on the big

screen under the stars. It doesn’t get much

better than that!

This guide is bursting with things to do for

the whole family this Autumn, so don’t be

afraid to get out and about and enjoy what

Ipswich has to offer.
