Kids CPR Awareness Sessions

Does your child know what to do in an emergency?

Ipswich City Council offers free Kids CPR Awareness Sessions to help teach them life-saving skills.

See the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Information Sheet For Kids (PDF, 197.3 KB) for a few simple steps that kids can follow.

Kids CPR Awareness Sessions have been designed for children aged 5–12 years, however, children over 12 are welcome to enrol.

  • These sessions are offered under Ipswich City Council’s SEAL Pool Safety Program
  • Each session runs for one hour and is delivered by Queensland Ambulance Service
  • Bookings are essential as places are limited
  • Note that these sessions DO NOT provide a CPR qualification upon completion.

This program is primarily for Ipswich residents.
