Kids CPR Awareness Sessions

Does your child know what to do in an emergency?

Ipswich City Council offers free Kids CPR Awareness Sessions to teach children life-saving skills.

See the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Information Sheet For Kids (PDF, 197.3 KB) for simple steps that kids can follow.

Kids CPR Awareness Sessions have been designed for children aged 5–12 years. However, children over 12 years are welcome to enrol.

  • These sessions are offered under Ipswich City Council’s SEAL Pool Safety Program
  • Each session runs for one hour and is delivered by Queensland Ambulance Service
  • Bookings are essential as spots are limited
  • Note that these sessions do not provide a CPR qualification upon completion.
