Every dog in the Ipswich area aged 12 weeks and over must be registered with Council. The registration period runs from 1 July to 30 June each year.
You must let us know in writing within 7 days, if there is any change in details for your dog(s) or yourself (eg. animal has been desexed, your surname has changed, etc).
Credit Card Payment by Phone Phone 1300 309 270 any time of day and follow the prompts. Please ensure you have your account, credit card and a pen ready to write your transaction (receipt) number that will be given at the end of the call. Retain this number for future reference. Payment can be made using MasterCard or Visa. Please quote your dogs' Reference Number. Ipswich City Council offers reduced fees on registration for desexed cats and dogs as well as for pensioners. Proof of desexing or your pension card is required if registering a dog for the first time or requesting a discount for the first time. If mailing your payment a photocopy of the desexing certificate or a pension card is required.
